I remember when I was a little kid, I begged my mom for a guitar and guitar lessons. When I had one in my hands and started learning chords I tried to figure out how anyone could possibly stitch a song together. And for a long time I never believed in myself to be able to write songs or thought that something like that would be possible. I’d write lyrics of songs I liked out in my school notebooks and just stare at the words and wonder how people brought them together. I didn’t know that sometimes they could just come together on their own; and someone was just there to catch it.
